At IKEA Emeryville, we consider teachers part of the family. All teachers are invited to visit our store Monday, July 15th for an event just for you. The fun starts at 9:30 am with giveaways to the first 100 teachers to show a Teacher ID.
Free breakfast for teachers 9:30am-11am in the IKEA Restaurant. For the rest of the event, our store is your campus for prizes, workshops and activities where you’ll learn the IKEA definition of homework: ways to improve your life at home and school.
Make sure to visit the IKEA Teachers Lounge upstairs in the workspace department for a chance to “Spin to win” on top of every hour.
The Swedish word for teacher is lärare and thank you is tack. So we say, “Tack lärare!”
