Imagine Dragons Free Halftime Concert at Treasure Island | SF

ESPN will be hosting a free live performance by multi-platinum Grammy award winning Imagine Dragons with special guest Lil Wayne on Treasure Island to be broadcast during halftime of the National Championship.

Weather Update – Sunday’s performance is canceled due to wind/rain – ESPN has told us the Monday’s performance is still scheduled as planned. Umbrellas will be allowed through security. Updated as of 1/6 4:30pm.

You are invited to attend either the live rehearsal on Sunday or the live halftime performance with big screen game watch on Monday.

What’s the deal with an “access code?” Please note that there are no publicly-available access codes – If your are asked to enter an access code that means that the general admission tickets are sold out. The access code is purely for internal ESPN purposes.

EXPERIENCE
This exclusive event is a condensed live performance by Imagine Dragons for the purposes of airing during the cable broadcast of the College Football National Championship game. The event is standing room only and completely outdoors. Please check the weather and dress appropriately. Concessions will be available for purchase on site. Guests are encouraged to print their tickets in advance to ensure a smooth entry process.

CELL PHONE POLICY (SUNDAY ONLY)
The CFP National Championship Halftime Performance rehearsal on Sunday is a phone-free event in appreciation for the performers and fans. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be released at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times and can access their phones once they leave the phone-free space.

PARKING
Limited parking is available on Treasure Island. Carpooling with other attendees is encouraged. Please follow the flaggers on the island to direct you to the appropriate place to park. Parking is at your own risk. The event takes no responsibility for your vehicle or any property damage or loss.

RIDESHARE
Designated rideshare drop-off zones will be in effect during the event. Please have your driver follow the “Rideshare” signs once you get onto Treasure Island.

SMOKING
The venue is smoke free, which includes, but not limited to, cigarettes, vapor cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, and joints. Designated smoking areas have been established.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
A clear bag policy is in effect for this event. All bags are subject to search upon entry. No bags larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ will be allowed. All bags MUST be clear and MUST be under the size limit.

Multi-Platinum Grammy Award Winning Band Imagine Dragons to Highlight Halftime Telecast of the College Football Playoff National Championship on ESPN

This January, the College Football Playoff National Championship presented by AT&T will kick off in Santa Clara to determine the best team in college football. In a tradition that began last year, ESPN has planned a special half time performance – this year featuring the #1 streaming group of 2018 – Imagine Dragons. The band will perform live from Treasure Island, located in the San Francisco Bay.

On monday, January 7, 2019, they’re broadcasting from Treasure Island, and they want you to be there as part of the live audience. Gates open at 4pm for the watch party. The College Football National Championship Game will be shown on a large screen on-site. During halftime of the game, Imagine Dragons will perform hits from their new album, Origins, live for the audience on Treasure Island and for the estimated 28,000,000 viewers at home. You must have a ticket to attend.

Other Free Concerts for 2019 College Football Playoffs

In addition to Imagine Dragons, there are three days of free concerts taking place in San Jose on January 4-6, 2019. Unlike the Imagine Dragons performance on Treasure Island, no tickets are required.
