iMatter March | San Francisco

On Mother’s day, May 8 2011, the international iMatter March is trying to gather 1 million young people to march in towns and cities the world over, issueing a wake-up call to the ruling generation.

The iMatter March & Revolution is about:

• breaking dependence on fossil fuels
• creating a sustainable society where future generations are valued
• ditch convenience and short-term profits
• being heard on the issue of climate change
• empowering youth to organize

The San Francisco iMatter March will feature appearances by Alec Loorz, Ted Turner, Youth Speaks, rap artist AshEL Eldridge and other performers.

Location: It will start at 24th & Mission and end in Civic Center Plaza.
