The Bay Model was state of the art in 1957 and functioned as a scientific research center for the US Army Corps of Engineers for almost 50 years when it was retired in the year 2000.

Can an obsolete physical model still have an important function today? You bet it can. Join Ranger Linda to learn more and be introduced to two new exhibits.
