Inaugural “Taste of Downtown Hayward” 1-Night Food Fest (20+ Restaurants)

Prepare to savor the flavors of Downtown Hayward at the inaugural Taste of Hayward, a one-night-only culinary experience on Thursday, October 9, from 4 PM to 8 PM. Presented by the Downtown Hayward Improvement Association, this self-guided tasting tour features over 20 local restaurants serving appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages. Guests will receive a Taste Passport at check-in to guide them through the stops and track their favorite bites.

Explore the heart of downtown Hayward as you sample your way through everything from tasty appetizers and savory entrées to sweet desserts and refreshing drinks. Whether you’re a longtime local or new to the neighborhood, it’s the perfect chance to discover hidden gems and support the amazing eateries that make Hayward shine.

Tickets, priced at $35, include access to all tasting locations and are open to all ages (with ID required for alcohol).
