Every Wednesday night KALX sponsors a night of free music at The Uptown.

July 13, 2011 Lineup

• Broken Cities, an Oakland-based Post-Rock band and releases all of their music for free under a Creative Commons License (a great deal in and of itself).
• The Height are a brilliant and unique mix of folk, electronica, and psychedlic rock.
• Endroit plays Indie Pop Rock and absolutely crushes on stage.
• Moonbell has an almost indescribable sound. They offer almost shoe-gazer, synth laden, psych-rock. Have yet to have someone be disappointed in their “figurine e.p.”
