10-Acre India Basin Block Party & Warriors Game Watch | SF

A brand new world-class 10-acre park that will provide local residents with direct access to parks, open space, and new recreational opportunities is coming to India Basin is coming. While the construction and opening date is still likely many years away, come meet the designers, hear from the project team on the progress made to date, and share your thoughts and ideas.

Join San Francisco Recreation & Parks and Mayor London N. Breed to celebrate the unveiling of India Basin Park’s Shipwright’s Cottage Mural, painted by STAR Artist in Residence, Ira Watkins, and an accompanying 80-foot banner.

This community celebration will also include music and a free watch party of the Warriors NBA Finals game at 6pm.

This event will bring community stakeholders, residents and business owners from District 10 and surrounding neighborhoods together to enjoy the mural and banner; both signifying the advent of India Basin Park.
