Indie Mart DIY, Design & Music Festival | SF
Come shop tons of vendors, hang out, drink and watch bands inside Thee Parkside, get a lil sunburn and people watch at the second Summer Indie Mart hitting outside on Sunday, September 9th, 12-6pm at Thee Parkside and all down Wisconsin Street, plus an after-party inside Thee Parkside from 6pm to midnight.
This one is the Neighborhood Edition and the organizers are layering in local small & new stores with vendors, so you can see the best of your neighborhood and explore others or even just which of your neighbors are makers.
Admission is $3- or what ya can afford. They use it for the bands and to cover the pricey costs of shutting down the streets and barricades and gets you bands, photobooths, fun and more. All ages to hang, 21 to drink.
Here’s what they’ve got:
- 100 vendors,
- hella babes in Mom jeans slanging vintage
- free DIY activities
- food trucks: Chariman Bao (buns), All Good Pizza (duh, pizza), Docs of the Bay, The Galley (sammies), Whiskey Commons (fried buffalo chix sammies), Salsa Delfina and Nute’s Cupcakes
- food & drink at Thee Parkside
- Photobooth by Magnolia
- DJ’s outside
For music, they’ve got:
- 6pm – Uzi Rash
- 5pm – White Mystery
- 4pm – SF Rock Project with some surprise guests
- 3pm – Greg Ashley
- 2pm – Cracked Ice feat. Brian Glaze from Brian Jonestown Massacre & the Duke Robert Willoughby-Greenhill
For the after-party (6pm to midnight), they’ve got:
- 6pm – starting with Uzi Rash playing, Kelly Malone calling a ton of rowdy Bingo games with her favorite dudes calling balls with her
- Win epic prizes from vendors at Indie Mart, drinks, records, bar tabs and secret fun prizes like “super epic Flea Market find”, “get u laid prize” and more.
