Indie Rock Night: Sunkissed + Indigo Elephant (Brick and Mortar)

While Indigo Elephant began as a one-off performance for a 2018 talent show, it quickly turned into a long-lasting ensemble for thoughtful, genre-crossing indie tunes. The Oakland-based band has since grown into a dynamic act, defined by their emotional clarity and melodic instincts. Whether playing to intimate rooms or large festivals, Indigo Elephant blends the raw honesty of indie rock with the smooth textures of indie pop, drawing comparisons to acts like Wallows, Men I Trust, Last Dinosaurs, and The 1975.

Indigo Elephant has built a strong live reputation through heartfelt, high-energy performances across the Bay Area and Northern California. They’ve supported internationally touring acts at Café Du Nord in San Francisco, and headlined shows at iconic venues including 924 Gilman, Brick and Mortar, and the Ivy Room.

Following Indigo Elephant is sunkissed. A local band bred in San Francisco with a unique sonic sound that blends influences from bands like Pink Floyd, Radiohead and the Red of Chili Peppers, Dire Straits, Backseat Lovers and Flipturn.

Known for their incredible live energy, sunkissed manages to blend modern synthetic soundscapes, chill indie rock, psychedelia to create a fresh sound. With new singles like “Ocean Breeze” and “Echos”, along with the beloved “On the Sun Kissed Hills of San Francisco”, sunkissed brings the power on stage with their captivating performance.
