Event Details

The Bay Area InDesign User Group Meeting will give you an inside look at the brand new graphic design software package “Adobe Creative Suite 5” at their May meeting, along with free pizza and soda pop. The event takes place at Adobe’s San Francisco headquarters in SOMA

Come to the SF InDesign User Group meeting and see three of our favorite presenters give you some insight into what you can expect.

  • Steve Werner will cover the new interactivity features for creating SWF (Flash) files built into InDesign CS5. These include creating animations, creating multiple object states, setting timing and playback of animations, working with video files, and previewing interactive elements without leaving InDesign.
  • Peter Truskier will cover a couple of exciting new features in Camera RAW and Photoshop CS5 that will blow your mind.
  • Kelly McCathran will cover What’s New in Illustrator CS5 — including Fluid Vector Painting, Variable-width strokes, arrowheads, dashes, and art brush scaling along a path, the new Shape Builder and Bristle Brush tools, Resolution-independent effects, and integration with Adobe CS Review.

Event is free, but you must be a member of the user group (membership is free) – Sign Up
