Event Details

Come celebrate International Archaeology Day with family-friendly activities that uncover the layered history of the Presidio of SF – a national park site. This free event includes:
• Tours of the c. 1792 Mesa Room inside the Presidio Officer’s Club (San Francisco’s second oldest building)
• Teachings from the archaeologists working in the field including a special presentation by Presidio Trust Archaeologist Kari Jones
• Make your own adobe bricks
• Explore the remains of the Old Spanish Fort

*This is also an opportunity to check out the My Park Moment photo show and enjoy lunch from one of the many food trucks from Off the Grid
