Event Details

By this point, you’ve probably heard of Bitcoin and may know someone who owns some, but even though you nod your head when it comes internally you were wondering … what *is* a Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is the world’s first finite digital resource, a currency that no single person or organization can control – kind of like a digital gold. Unless you have a background in cryptography or economics or both, phrases like cold storage, hard fork, and segregated witness can all seem pretty cryptic.

Main takeaways:

  • What is Bitcoin?
  • How does it work?
  • Why does it matter?

Meet the Speaker Tyler Odean:

Tyler is the Director of Product at Reddit. Previously, he was a Group Product Manager at Google. He led a team of 9 Product Managers working on Chrome, and Google’s hiring committee for product manager job candidates. He brings over 8 years of product management experience at Google, starting as one of the first Associate Product Manager interns in 2008.

Free but an RSVP is required.
