Event Details

Join them for an energizing and fun introduction to Intro to Rowing on Saturday November 7th at 11:30am at CRUfit.

Free but RSVP required.

CRUfit invites adults of all ages and fitness levels and youths from age 11 on up to join their CRUfit Row 101 class, where they teach you how to row with proper form and get the most out of your rowing training.

Participants often say that group rowing at CRUfit is like a Spinning class on a rower. You’ve got all the music, the group energy and the fun of Spinning plus the many benefits of rowing. Here are some highlights:

  • Rowing is a non-impact activity. if you follow the extensive form guidance we give you, your chance of injury is low.
  • Rowing is full-body cardio and strength training which works the big muscles in the legs (quads, hamstrings and gluts), the core muscles and the upper body muscles used for pulling.
  • Rowing has been shown to be effective in building and maintaining spinal bone density.
