Irish Pub Night with “Culann’s Hounds” | Blackthorn Tavern

Before a major performance at Burning Man, San Francisco favorite Culann’s Hounds return to their favorite neighborhood bar for a free show. The Irish band seamlessly blends “core values” Irish trad with high-energy pub punk and Americana. Their trademark is a rocking fun show with virtuosic fireworks and first-rate eye candy.

The Blackthorn Tavern, a longstanding Irish pub in the heart of the Inner Sunset, has retooled in recent months with more free events and specials than ever, from Sunday afternoon barbecues and trivia to darts and pool competitions to live music and karaoke. Under new management since June, the Blackthorn retains its friendly, down-to-earth neighborhood appeal while adding more events, a photo booth, pinball machine and Golden Tee arcade game, not to mention a heat lamp on the outdoor smoking patio.
