Taste America, presented by Capital One, is a nationwide initiative to bring together chefs, special guests, and diners from across the country to celebrate the local independent restaurants at the heart of our communities.
The walk-around tasting at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco will be an exciting gathering of chefs from the San Francisco Bay Area culinary community with food stations hosted by TasteTwenty host chef Anya El-Wattar of Birch & Rye in San Francisco, CA; TasteTwenty guest chef and James Beard Award semifinalist Yuan Tang of Rooster & Owl in Washington, D.C.; C-Y Chia and Shane Stanbridge of Lion Dance Cafe, Oakland, CA; Nelson German of Sobre Mesa and alaMar Dominican Kitchen, Oakland, CA; Tracy Goh of Damansara, San Francisco, CA; Matt Horn of Horn BBQ, Oakland, CA; Carlo Lamagna of Magna Kusina, Portland, OR, courtesy of Travel Portland; Ethan Leung of Baon Kainan, Portland, OR, courtesy of Travel Portland; Kristina Liedags Compton of Hilda & Jesse, San Francisco, CA; Dominica Rice Cisneros of Bombera, Oakland, CA; Crystal Wahpepah of Wahpepah’s Kitchen, Oakland, CA; David Yoshimura of Nisei, San Francisco, CA; and many more. Each station’s offering will reflect the chef’s signature style and highlight the uniqueness of their restaurant and community. The tasting will also have beverage stations and other activations from our national and local sponsors.
