The Bay Area Flash Mob has decided to perform “Rhythm Nation” by Janet Jackson as a flash mob on April Fools’ Day. They will pretend to be a SWAT team, and then suddenly dance when the music starts.

April 1, 2012 Performance Schedule:
– 1:30pm: Ferry Plaza (median in front of the clock tower)
– 2:15pm: Union Square
– 3:00pm: UN Plaza (in front of the Farmer’s Market)
– 3:45pm: Castro (corner of Castro and Market St, next to the Twin Peaks Bar)
To participate, you need to know:
- The full dance to Rhythm Nation
- OR only the final dance break during the last 30 seconds of the song.
- You will also need to wear an outfit similar to the one that Janet Jackson wears in the Rhythm Nation video (all in black, with a black cap, black jacket, black pants…).
