These young and dynamic virtuosos take their talents outside of the symphony hall to share their love of the great masterworks with diverse audiences.
The Chamber Music Society of San Francisco was founded in the spring of 2013. It is passionate about concertizing in intimate settings, cultivating a relationship between music and listeners that extends far beyond the perimeter of the concert hall. The ensemble’s musicians can be heard performing with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, Santa Rosa Symphony, Magik*Magik Orchestra, as well as many other ensembles, in genres including early music, jazz, tango, and pop.
