Jazz Jam and Artist Garden at Hayes Valley Art Works

Are you looking for a delightful and free jazz experience? Look no further than the Hayes Valley Art Works’ Jazz Jam in the Garden with Artist Garden, taking place on Saturday, February 25 from 1-4 pm!

In our lovely outdoor garden, you’ll enjoy the stylings of our house band, Curious Planet, a jazz band featuring talented musicians on bass, drums, guitar, and keys. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear guest singers and instrumentalists sitting in, making every performance unique and special.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! We also have an amazing gallery exhibit, “WATER RABBIT,” in the shipping container gallery, showcasing some fantastic local artists, along with artists exhibiting work in the garden. You’ll have the chance to purchase art directly from the artists, hear the story behind the artwork, and even take home a new piece of art for your home.

And if you’re a singer or instrumentalist, we invite you to sign up to sit in with our great jazz band. Simply send your songs and keys via the signup sheet at https://tinyurl.com/JazzJamSignup, and you’ll get the chance to show off your skills and jam with the band.

Jazz Jam takes place on the last Saturday of every month in the south garden of Hayes Valley Art Works, near the Northeast corner of Octavia and Page. Donations and tips are always encouraged, so please bring your generosity and support our talented artists.
