New at Joybound People & Pets: We are excited to share special screenings of animal film favorites! All are welcome at this community film night. In July we are celebrating Big Dog Summer all month and for the movies!
July 25: Homeward Bound (1993)
A fun-loving American bulldog pup, a hilarious Himalayan cat, and a wise old golden retriever embark on a long trek through the rugged wilderness of the Sierra Nevada mountains in a quest to reach home and their beloved owners. The pets must work together to survive the elements and find their way home. Voices include Michael J. Fox, Sally Fields, and Don Ameche. Directed by Duwayne Dunham.
Free popcorn will be available and drinks will be for sale. Come early and “Paws for Ice Cream” with free Baskin Robbins ice cream from 4:30-6:00 pm before the films!
Plus, we will be showing 101 Dalmatians on July 11 and DC League of Super-Pets on July 18.
Suggested registration sliding scale of $5-$10 per person to attend.
The film will be screened on our big screen in the Pavilion. Joybound People & Pets is located at 2890 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek. Free parking is available onsite. Our adoption floor is open daily from 12:00-6:00 pm so come early to check out all our adoptable dogs and cats!
