Event Details

Celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge with a free, special Architectural Sculpture workshop, “Building Bridges.”

The free afternoon sculpture workshop for children ages five to 10 years commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. In this half-day workshop, students create sculptural art projects inspired by this cultural landmark.

Activities include outdoor sketches of the Golden Gate Bridge from our Fort Mason Center campus, collaborative brainstorming, and working with a variety of art and recycled materials in our studio to create a unique architectural masterpiece.

Drawing by Margie Smeller.
