Win Tix: Grammy-Winning Electro-Pop Pioneers “Kraftwerk” Live at the Greek Theatre (Berkeley)

Kraftwerk, formed in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider, is one of the most influential and innovative forces in the history of electronic music. They set up their iconic Kling Klang Studio in Düsseldorf, Germany, where they conceived and produced all of their albums, pioneering a genre that would go on to shape the future of music.

Their music, a fusion of synthetic voices and groundbreaking techniques, became the soundtrack for the digital age, influencing a wide spectrum of genres from Electro to Hip-Hop, from Techno to SynthPop.

Kraftwerk’s groundbreaking legacy has been celebrated across the world, from a retrospective of their catalogue at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York in 2012 to performances at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Tate Modern (London), Akasaka Blitz (Tokyo), Sydney Opera House, Fondation Louis Vuitton (Paris), Neue National Galerie (Berlin), and the Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao).
