Event Details

La Pelanga, an Oakland-based deejay collective, will be throwing a party in San Francisco on Thursday February 4th, 2010 at SUB-Mission (2183 Mission St., between 17th and 18th).

La Pelanga has been an on-going East Oakland event for the last two years, and the party at Sub-Mission will mark its return to San Francisco for the first time since 2008. Deejays Posoule, Papicultor, China Tu Madre, and Juancho 3000 will be spinning cumbia, salsa dura, dancehall, hip hop, soukous, Haitian kompa, reggaeton, afrobeat, and much more, beginning at 9pm until 2 am.

We will be joined by special guests, Hip Hop group BRWN BFLO, dancers Samba Queen Maisa Duke and Energia Do Samba, and Bay Area artist Favianna Rodriguez.
