La Rosa de Mexico

Hear the Bay area’s innovative vocal ensemble, Voices of Silicon Valley, together with leading electronic music artist Kris Grant, perform the WAVES OF CHANGE concerts on June 5 and 6. Together with premiere works by several Bay Area composers, the featured work, “La Rosa de Mexico,” by Cyril Deaconoff, is set to poetry by the legendary Mexican poet/playwright Xavier Villaurrutia and poet/journalist Francisco Cervantes. (The June 6 concert also features the DeAnza College Chorale performing Broadway repertoire!)
