Event Details

This week the Golden Gate Park Band, which normally plays Sundays in the park, perform a very special Labor Day concert on Monday, September 6th, saluting the American worker in music.

Celebrating its 128th season, the Golden Gate Park Band has been gracing SF with free public concerts in the Park since 1882.  Concerts are presented each Sunday, from April to October, at 1:00 pm in Golden Gate Park’s majestic Spreckels Temple of Music.  Musical styles change every week and include Classical, Marches, Opera, Broadway show tunes, Swing and Ethnic Programs, which often feature dancers, costumes and guest artists.
