Event Details

In Presidio Dialogues, notable authors, artists, and conversation starters explore themes from ancient history to current events through interactive dialogues, stimulating talks, panels, performances, and films.

From the 1920s through the Second World War, George Alexander Grant, the first chief photographer of the National Park Service, captured the parks’ natural beauty and historical significance. A master of landscape photography, Grant took more than 30,000 vivid black and white images. Though his work has been seen by millions, few know Grant’s name. His photographs were simply credited, “National Park Service.”

Free but an RSVP is required.
