SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025
The 2025 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival hosts a full lineup of free outdoor music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children’s programs. The Festival opens on Saturday, May 10, 2025 with La Santa Cecilia to kick off its 25th Anniversary Season.

Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers | SF’s Yerba Buena Gardens Festival 2025The Queen of classic jazz and blues is back with her “little big band,” the Red Hot Skillet Lickers, featuring the sensational Big Bones, one of the world’s great blues harmonica players.
Lavay Smith’s all-star 7-piece band will perform a wide selection of instrumental and vocal numbers from the heyday of Kansas City jazz and blues, including music by Charlie Parker, Big Joe Turner and Pete Johnson, Lester Young, and of course, the great Count Basie.
