This special workshop hosted by the Alameda Business Association is for individuals or groups who would like to create their own floats or share their talents with others for the Rose, White & Blue Parade on the 4th of July in San Jose.
Participants will receive a float building guide and learn:
* How to pick an original theme and design for your float
* Gathering a float design team to get the job done
* What vehicles, materials, & objects can be used to build a float
* Where to buy float decorating materials
* How to construct a safe and sturdy float
* How to make your float stand out stunts and tricks
We will have an opportunity at the end of the workshop for individuals or groups to meet and team up with each other on projects if they wish. Limited seating available.
