Leather & LGBT Cultural District: Anniversary Ringold Block Party (2025)

Join us for our 7th Anniversary Celebration on Ringold Street (between 8th and 9th street) on Saturday, May 10, from noon to 3 pm. We’ll have artists, music, community groups, and activities. We will also be conducting a walking tour of the Ringold Leather History Walk. If you have wondered about the meaning of the monuments, one of our walking tour guides will connect the dots for you about what place Ringold has in the history of the leather community in SOMA.

Our Mission:

We exist to ensure there is a lively and vibrant home for our community of events, businesses, bars and organizations in SOMA.

What we do:

• We Keep SOMA Kinky and Queer by backing legislation, such as allowing bathhouses
• We install public art like murals and leather pride flags on light poles
• We create community gathering spaces to activate our artists, performers and makers
• We provide an Entrepreneur Training Program for our community
• We partner with local businesses and organizations to help them navigate City Hall and
• promote their events
• We provide walking tours of historic SOMA locations.
