In 2013, Dr. Jennifer Haselberger made national news when she resigned as the top canon lawyer for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and publicly exposed the Archdiocese’s mishandling of sexual abuse. In this lecture, Dr. Haselberger will address how canon law and other institutional factors have contributed to the abuse crisis and possible reforms for the Church to overcome it.
