Event Details

The Beehive Society is proud to present “Legendary Lands,” their fourth and final art show of 2015 in collaboration with 826 Valencia.

A couple months ago, they teamed up with 826 Valencia, an SF-based nonprofit dedicated to developing children’s writing skills, to produce a workshop. They worked with 15 students (ages 8-11) and asked them to dream up their own imaginary land. The final result: a travel passport filled with descriptions and drawings of wildlife, landscapes, food and more of their unique new world.

For this very special art show, each artist has been asked to design a travel poster inspired by these passports. Each art piece in the show will be a creative collaboration between artists and the young explorers who dreamt up these imaginative worlds.

All art pieces will be available for purchase and a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to 826 Valencia.
