LGBTQ+ Family Field Trip to OMCA (Oakland)

Join us in celebration of Black History Month for this fun, affirming and accessible field trip for families at the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA)!

This two-hour, family-friendly experience is designed, to explore Black history through:

Storytelling

Art and Crafts

Shared discovery

Together, families will engage with a guided museum tour, participate in playful learning activities, and celebrate the legacy, creativity, and contributions of Black communities, past, present, and future.

Families are encouraged to bring their own lunch to enjoy together during the visit. All activities are designed to be accessible, low-pressure, and engaging for young children and caregivers alike!
