Welcome to Library Bites: Cultural Showcase! Presented by 2024 Bayview YELL Interns.
Join us for a fun and engaging event at the Bayview Linda Brooks-Burton Branch Library. Explore food and art of El Salvador, Vietnam, China, and Macau.
Activities will include:
- El Salvador: ceramic pot painting and horchata tasting
- Vietnam: Vietnamese coffee phin demonstration and instruction (with decaf option)
- China and Macau: paper lantern painting and egg roll and egg tart tasting

What is YELL?
Youth Engaged in Library Leadership (YELL) is a workforce development program designed for older teens that requires a weekly commitment over the summer. Interns work collaboratively with local librarians and assist with content creation, support STEM and literacy activities and develop project-based youth led events.
