Event Details

On the heels of Litquake’s January event “No Shadow Without Light: Writers Respond to Trump,” Litquake offers another glimpse of sanity in an increasingly insane world. This current political climate demands honest and unvarnished media coverage. But is the American press doing enough to tell the truth behind the lies? Are we in a spiral of spin where truth no longer matters? In missing the predictions of the Trump election, is there a disconnect between the press and the American people?

An august panel of journalists will discuss these issues and more. Moderated by KQED’s Scott Shafer.
