Colorado-based bluegrass band Wood Belly will take the stage at Amado’s on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 8pm for an exciting night of music in the Mission.
Doors will open at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 online. They can also be purchased at the door on the day of the show for $20. 21+
Wood Belly was the winner of the prestigious Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition and gained a nomination for International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Momentum Band of the Year in 2018. The quintet has worked tirelessly to make a name for themselves in the crowded Front-Range bluegrass scene and, with the release of their sophomore record, Man on The Radio, they are positioning themselves for big things.
Opening for Wood Belly will be the Bay area band The High Water Line. This four-piece group has blended their diverse musical tastes and experiences to create a hard-driving West Coast bluegrass sound that is all their own. The High Water Line was named a 2019 California Bluegrass Association Showcase Band and released their first album Introducing the High Water Line in 2019.
