$5 Admission Night | Contemporary Jewish Museum

Every Thursday night admission to the Contemporary Jewish Museum is just $5 after 5 pm (or $8 during special exhibitions). On these evenings the museum also offers a wide range of cultural events like concerts, film screenings, workshops and talks that are often free with museum admission.

The Contemporary Jewish Museum is housed in a stunning modern building in Jessie Square in the SoMa district of San Francisco.

POTENTIAL MUSEUM SURCHARGES – During certain special exhibitions (like Stanley Kubrick: The Exhibition from July 30-October 30) there is a $3 surcharge which makes admission $8. Always check the CJM website for latest pricing.

And don’t forget, every first Tuesday of each month, admission to the museum is free all day.

Mike Beck is an engaging acoustic solo artist who regularly performs in the United States and Europe. He is a regularly featured performer at The National Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering. Mike has six albums under his belt with original songs that have been recognized as some of the finest compositions on Western Americana out there.

The Western Horseman magazine recently picked “The 13 Best Cowboy Songs,” and included two compositions by Mike, putting him alongside other writers such as Ian Tyson, Tom Russell, Lucinda Williams, and Gene Autry. According to Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, “Mike Beck plays the guitar like a Byrd. His strings do things that mine could never do. They obey the slightest finger-touch commands like a fine Reining Horse.
