Rubblebucket is an indie-dance band hailing from the wild lands of Brooklyn, NY. Unlike a lot of their contemporaries, these guys eschew the electronic-heavy hooks of typical dance music. They bring the brass, literally. They’ve got a horns section that lends a classic vibe to their hip-swaying sound. Frontwoman Annakalmia Traver brings soulful vocals to their sweet, sweet grooves.
To listen to Rubblebucket is to dance to them. Come to Slim’s for a night of dancability and impeccable fun. Unless of course, you’re a stick in the mud.
