A series of storytelling, conversations, and live performances. The speakers are a range of inspiring people from a married couple who are creating drugs leading towards breakthroughs in the quest for cures to both Cancer and Hepatitis, to a former Fortune 500 consultant who is bringing clean water to the indigenous Aeta Tribe which he was raised alongside in the Philippines, as well as an artist creating immersive installations on gentrification, in museums across America, and an oceanographer using drones to preserve traditional maritime cultures in collaboration with NASA Ames, Google Oceans, and The U.S. Government.
They all will be sharing their ideas which improve the quality of life, not in a prognostication of the future, but by presenting what they are doing right now that will be the difference in a better tomorrow. Within the potential of their ideas, the future no longer remains distant and conditional, but it is instead accelerated, exponentially into the present.
The format:
Each creator will speak for 15 minutes about their projects and passion focusing on their backstory, influences, and inspiration. Following this, the host will facilitate dialogue between the speaker and the audience for 5 minutes with the intention of building dialogue that inspires.
