Living Social has just launched their “Instant Deals” – a new twist on the daily deal trend. And to celebrate the launch, they’ve partnered with dozens of restaurants and cafes in San Francisco to offer you $1 lunches today, Wednesday July 13, 2011.

11am to 2pm

• PIZZA – Escape From New York – $1 for $10 of lunch
• BURRITOS – El Faro – $1 for $10 of lunch
• BURRITOS – El Tonayense – $1 for $10 of lunch
• BURGERS – Bistro Burger – $1 for $10 of lunch [SOLD OUT]
• SOUP – San Francisco Soup Company – $1 for Large Soup and drink
• PUB GRUB – Irish Times – $1 for $20 of lunch
  and tons more…

The deals are mostly centered in the Financial District and SoMa, but there are some in other neighborhoods like The Mission, Castro, Chinatown and Civic Center

How Long Are These Deals Good For?
But it looks like you need to act quickly, as some of the deals are already sold out.

We have no idea if these ridiculous deals are valid just for today, or if they’ll offer similar $1 deals in the future, but if you sign up for Living Social, you’ll probably be first to know the next time this comes around.
