DeliRadio’s Free lOAKal Music Showcase | Oakland

DeliRadio, Berkeley’s streaming music, hosts the lOAKal Free Showcase, an ongoing concert series highlighting the best of Bay Area music at The New Parish in Oakland.

Admission to all shows is free for music fans 21 and up, with nightly specials including $3 Trumer Pils beer and a $3 food menu. Music starts at 8 pm. Under 21 must buy $5 drink ticket at the door.

Sleepy Sun with Some Ember and Mahgeetah | DeliRadio’s Free lOAKal Music Showcase | Oakland

San Francisco psych-rockers Sleepy Sun will play its first Bay Area show at lOAKal following an extensive European tour behind its recently released third album, Spine Hits.

Also performing will be Oakland experimental electronic act Some Ember (featuring longtime local musician Dylan Travis), which recently announced via Twitter it will be relocating to New York City, so catch ‘em while you can. Rounding out the bill is the heavily buzzed-about San Francisco blues-rock act Mahgeetah, playing tunes from its much anticipated debut album, Heavy Baby.
