Free Film Buff Night: Modern Classic Films & Local Shorts | SF
The Long And The Short Of It is a new film series that will showcase short films by local filmmakers followed by the early works of today’s top Hollywood directors.
Free, but RSVP is appreciated and donations are welcome.
This event happens monthly at Goforaloop Gallery & Studios in the Mission. Concessions including popcorn, candy, and cocktails will be on sale.

Bottle Rocket | Free Film Buff Night: Modern Classic Films & Local Shorts | SFFor May 2013, they are featuring Wes Anderson’s black and white, crime caper, short film “Bottle Rocket” alongside his first feature length film of the same name. Stop in for an evening of tomfoolery on the big screen.
- 6:30 pm: Cocktails and refreshments
- 7:15 pm: Local shorts directed by local filmmakers
- 7:30 pm: Bottle Rocket (short). Directed by Wes Anderson
- 8 pm: Bottle Rocket (feature). Directed by Wes Anderson
