Lori Ostlund launches her novel After the Parade—the story a big-hearted, self-conscious, deeply sensitive man, Aaron Englund, who decides to leave his older partner and make a new life in San Francisco. But, as he steps out into a new city, Aaron finds memories flying back to the traumas, mysteries, and lost opportunities bound up in the tiny Midwestern town of his youth.
