Event Details

Come lend your lips to be photographed as the Make Love Portrait Party is going down this weekend, Saturday & Sunday (Jan 28 & 29) 10am to 4pm  at Yerba Buena Gardens, near the MLK waterfall.

Just show up and let fashion photographer Daniel Castro take a photo of your lips (it’s free!) at this open air photograph studio to participate in a large scale art installation piece, and then mix and mingle with all of the other lip models. Come relax in the sun, and give a kiss for a great cause.

Hundreds of polaroid ‘lip portraits’ will be amassed together to form a substantial six foot piece with one word: L-O-V-E. Before the lip prints reach their final destination in the letterforms however, they will be featured as whimsical portrait props (participants are encouraged to swap lips) in the outdoor studio.
