Love’s Labour’s Lost

Love’s Labour’s Lost, set in the kingdom of Navarre, opens as the king persuades three companions to join him in a three-year quest to avoid women and devote themselves to study. Their vow is immediately tested by the arrival of the Princess of France and her ladies, as each man quickly falls in love. Directed by Doyle Ott, a series of disguises, mistaken identities, witty arguments and comic subplots ensue, with a twist at the end that complicates the usual marriages that end Shakespeare’s comedies.
