Event Details

The Berkeley Art Museum invites you to experience the opening of The Possible, an experimental exhibition that reconceives the museum as a site for creative convergence.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Admission to this event is completely free, and there will be a free beeswax candle and mask-making workshop, accompanied by a live soundtrack of work songs. Then you will put on your masks and march through the streets of Berkeley in a night parade.

As both a culmination of the first wave of The Possible actions and a moment to draw together the potential for what’s to come, the artists of The Possible orchestrate a ceremony that incorporates studio production, sound, and movement.

Doors and preparations begin at 5 pm. The ceremony starts at 7:30 pm. Galleries are open until 9 pm.
