Mama G’s started as a simple, yet radical idea— to redistribute resources from those who had them to those in the most need. What was once a small Thanksgiving street dinner has now become a year-round food justice organization, impacting thousands of people in San Francisco’s Tenderloin community every year.

Mama’s Annual Thanksgiving Street Dinner is on Sunday, November 21st!
We will have be serving a warm, delicious Thanksgiving Dinner at UN Plaza in San Francisco starting at 2:00 pm. We are preparing food for up to 500 people, and will serve until we run out of food.
Look for Mama G’s volunteers in dark green shirts and for the balloons to find the start of the line.
