Mare Island “Pedalfest” & Bike Rodeo (Vallejo)

For serious bike racers, bike enthusiasts, kids and families, or just spectators looking for a beer on the waterfront during a fun event, this unique Island-wide, urban cyclo-cross event is a must-attend. Race and ride through 142 Years of Naval Shipyard History. Festival Grounds at Mare Island Brewing Co. ,where beer and food will be served at their waterfront brewery. The races run throughout the Island and The Wet Mile, and events include a children’s bike rodeo and family bike tour of the island.

Music, food, beer and plenty of parking (spectators are encouraged/welcome).

DAY-OF REGISTRATION IS AN ADDITIONAL $10 PER RACE

Beginner’s Race (2 laps):  $25
(Age group divisions: 18-34, 35-54, 55+, by gender)

Youth Race (Kids, with Adults recommended, 1 lap): $20
(Starts behind Beginner’s Race. Age groups: 13 and under can be accompanied by adult, simplified obstacles, not timed)

HIGH SCHOOL Boys and Girls race  (3 laps): $25
(Age groups: 14-15, 16-17, by gender)

Intermediate Race (3 laps): $35
(Age groups: 18-34, 35-54, 55+, by gender)

1:00 pm
Lap of the Shipyard (2nd departure): $10 per adult; under age 18 is free

Advanced Race (4 laps): $35
(Age groups: 18-34, 35-54, 55+, by gender)

Lonesome Louis (“Lew-ee”) Team Race: $50 per team
4 riders, 1 lap per rider, relay
(winning team immortalized on Lonesome Louis trophy)
