Marin Art Festival 2010 | Free Entry Before 11am

The Marin Art Festival features work from over 250 artists from across the country. The festival, now in its 14th year, is full of color and surprise and offers a unique line up of entertainment including whimsical stilt walkers, hands-on art projects for children, and live music and dance.

Festivalgoers can shop for amazing art and then dance to world music on Saturday featuring World Beat, Salsa and Caribbean. On Sunday the music will focus on uniquely American music and will feature Americana, R&B and Blues.

– When: Saturday, June 19 to Sunday, June 20 from 10am to 6pm.
– Where: By the Lagoon at the Marin County Fairgrounds in San Rafael, CA 94903
– Public Info/tickets: Tickets are $10 at the gate. Children 14 and under are free. The event has ample free parking
– First Hour –Early Bird special: Free admission both days from 10am-11am. Come in and Artful Costume and get in free all day
