The Marin KidCareFair | San Rafael

The KidCareFair is the most comprehensive and collaborative event in Marin County to help support children and families and it is open to everyone.

Over 25 impactful community organizations providing family support services will be in one place.
Participating organizations include: Marin Advocates/CASA, Seneca Family of Agencies, Huckleberry Youth Programs, National Park Service, Hospice/Grief Counseling Program, Canal Alliance, Marin Community Health Clinics, 10,000 Degrees and many more.

Get a free dental screening, learn about: free counseling, support services for children with learning challenges, college scholarships and support through the application process, medical/health advice for children.

Educational workshops of interest to parents and community members: Presentations by Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Marin Advocates for Children, the Marin County Office of Education and Marin County Children and Family Services.

The KidCareFair has introduced individual children and families to services they didn’t know about and greatly increased referrals between organizations.

A full day of workshops for up to 6 hours of DHHS training hours for Foster and Fost-Adopt parents. Plus educational workshops open to all parents that tackle difficult parenting questions, learning about how trauma impacts the development of children, keeping your children tobacco free (including e-cigarettes) and how to survive homework and get extra help if you need it.

Raffle prizes, Live Music, Puppet Show, Face Painting, Bay Area Discovery Museum Play Area and more.
