Join nonprofit cooking school 18 Reasons on October 13th for Master Chefs at Home, an online event and auction. Registration is free!
Master Chefs at Home will feature a cocktail demo from Trick Dog‘s founding bartender, Caitlin Laman; a cooking demo from State Bird Provisions‘ chef/owners, Nicole Krasinski & Stuart Brioza; remarks from SF Mayor London Breed about food security in the Bay Area; great auction items and more! The goal of the event is to raise $100,000 to support 18 Reasons’ Cooking Matters program, a free cooking and nutrition education program paired with grocery donations for low-income families that empowers participants to buy, cook, and eat good food every day.
Since March, 18 Reasons has held 130 online Cooking Matters at Home classes, reached over 700 low-income families, and distributed over 170,000 pounds of food to community members in need. Together, we can make sure that every Cooking Matters student continues to have access to healthy food throughout this crisis, because COVID can’t stop good! Reserve your spot today.
