Matcha: Balinese Jazz Guitar | Asian Art Museum

In step with the Asian Art Museum’s current “Bali” art exhibit, this month’s Matcha evening evening-with-drinks features a famous Balinese guitarist instead of the usual DJ. Actually considered the fastest guitarist in Indonesia, I Wayan Balawan plays a double-neck guitar that seems more big star then islander. Hang out over cocktails (cash bar), a docent conversation, free raffle and plenty of art.
